LHR - SIN on Quantas

Booked a business class seat on Quantas to Singapore from London-Heathrow. Generally, I fly British Airways, so I admit I'm used to a fairly high class of service.

The seat is fairly comfortable on the 747 in business class. It's kind of a "pod", and it reclines all the way. It looks like the only difference between first and busines class is that there are a lot fewer seats in first.

The service is horrible. The menu says you can get your meal at any time, and since I wanted to sleep for the beginning of the 14 hour overnight flight, I decided to take them up on it. Getting them to even bring a sandwich took multiple tries. Forget trying to get drinks.

The only worse business class so far is AA.

Find The Boots

An executive goes on a business trip. When he arrives, it's raining cats and dogs. To avoid ruining his shoes, he purchases a pair of galoshes for $15, which he expenses under "Misc." on his expense report. A week later, the accounting department rejects his expense report, with a post-it note that says that the company does not reimburse for items of clothing. The next trip, the executive turns in an expense report without the galoshes, but with a post-it note that says "FIND THE BOOTS!".
