Quick Note on Jericho

Friday, May 25, 2007

Wow. I try to sneak off for a Friday afternoon to work out and have a nice dinner with the wife only to come back to a deluge of email and comments!

Thanks for all the praise and comments. We really appreciate it. TierFlyer and I have been IM'ing back and forth with ideas and we'll have more articles up next week.

I did notice that ABC News picked up the story, so the next tipping point may be getting very close.

I first found Rich's Copywrite Inc blog then found yours. Your articles are the best I've written so far on this phenomenon... I am anxiously awaiting more and will be looking to both you and Rich for the professional, engaging, and thought provoking analysis the Jericho effect.

I run a small internet radio station (www.protonradio.com) and am fascinated by the evolution of Old Media. My excitement began when NBC's Heroes and ABC's Lost were played online for free at the beginning of the season-- all icing on the cake though compared to this now from Jericho.

Your analysis is great. The metaphor of toxic waste to canceled shows is spot on.

Please keep up the good work!

Ugh, many typos in my excitement. You get the point. Where's the edit button?
