Google Maps in Flight

Google Blogoscoped has some photos of JetBlue Google Maps.

Pretty cool. The normal in flight maps on most airlines are pretty lame. You get a general idea of where you are, but it would be really cool to be able to locate landmarks like your house as you fly over.

I remember one time flying from LHR to DEL and looking at the map. We were in Iranian airspace or close enough, so it appeared. It occurred to me that as an American I might be in for some difficulty if the plane developed trouble and they had to land. Of course, at that point the other options are Pakistan and Afghanistan.
