There is a great video (non embeddable) of a guy trying to rob a pizza delivery place.

Until an employee goes after Mr. I Have A Gun and Am Bad with a plastic chair and a 12" kitchen knife. You should go watch the video and imagine what they'd have found on the floor if this employee had a Roman short sword instead.

Also, please note the woman pleading to save the robbers life.

He did get away (without his gun and with no money) but was found in the road bleeding.
