Letter From Fred
Tuesday, June 26, 2007
I received an email from Fred Thompson (well, the campaign) that had an interesting paragraph:
Conservatives are polite. While moonbats will stand on street corners holding up signs and making idiots of themselves, conservatives are, well, conservative. We tend not to be very "in your face" about our politics. Politics, like religion, is something that's just not discussed in polite company.
I usually have to feel someone out for a bit before I decide if they're ready for my political views. It's a pretty safe bet at the hunt camp or gun range, but knocking on doors in my neighborhood?
I guess I'll have to limit my support for Fred to the power of this blog.
It’s going to take a lot of work. We’ll use the Internet to reach out to people online, but we also need to reach friends and neighbors who may not be connected. We’ll be making a lot of calls, knocking on a lot of doors, and telling family, friends and neighbors that there is another, better way.The problem with this approach?
