Indian Marketing

Tuesday, June 12, 2007

I had this little gem of an email in my inbox this morning.

I'm excited that there are now more Sheraton properties in New Delhi where I can earn and spend my Starwood points, but jeesh, could they find a color scheme that would be a little harder to read? I'm sure this looks completely reasonable to Indian eyes, but who exactly is in the marketing segment they're looking for?

Funny, I got that too, but am so inured to Indian color schemes that I didn't notice it.

I did like the "exciting new livery" - I can just imagine the staff in jodphurs.....
